Association of Cambodia Child First (ACCF) is a Cambodian Non Governmental Organization working for the common good in society and pay attention to the education of children and thousand families in Bakong District. The ACCF has been established to support and work with target group since 2014(almost 10 years now). Since the beginning of its establishment, ACCF provides support to an average of hundred children, and thousand poorest families. ACCF organization was officially registered with the Ministry of Interior in 2019 through the official registration letter.
1. Direct beneficiaries to: 220 poorest children and 1600 poorest families in Steong, Taphoup, and Kouk Trach villages (three villages), in Bakong Commune, Bakong District, Siem Reap Province to receive free education, foods, uniforms, and study’s materials ect….The direct beneficiaries are young students from primary school to high school students of the aged from 6 to 20 years old. Most students are from poorest families in our community with no new uniform and hungry morning. It has affects to the poor people live in communities, so we must commitment to develop our communities for the children in Cambodia.

Project Brief Introduction: (Problem, approach and goal) As a matter of fact, from 2019 to 2022 the Covid-19 has spread to almost every country in the world, including Cambodia. All the school in Cambodia has been suspended study all the levels, but during in the middle of 2022, Cambodia has been started to study again. Because of the education is very important for all the people to improve of the qualification and professional. The children’s protect and help to have opportunity for study from family and local authority.Then by the students study from home for few months later, the good news surprise coming out that the Covid-19 was coming down and the school starting again. With the badly situation of Covid-19 have had continued, and all the students come to school with social distancing and wearing face mask. So all students’ need and study materials, uniforms, foods, face masks, bikes, school bags, shoes, education program are cover by our school (ACCF). Since Covid-19 spreading in over the world, our school lost sponsors and supported to cover our projects. This is our main problem to tackle in to the presently. The hundred of children come to school without breakfast and hunger. They usually wear the broken and old clothes with the same uniform to school every day. With this situation, so you can imagine how dirty and hungry they are.The main purpose of the projects are to end hunger, poverty reduction, and offering the good quality of education and good taking care to all our 220 students and 997 families in the community.

Association of Cambodia Child First (ACCF) has been implementing of these projects since 2014 in Steong village, Bakong commune, Bakong District , Siem Reap province to support vulnerable children and young students from poorest families to participate in the education, and also to promote all the children and youth are want to learning and researching.

ACCF is also covering free English and Chines full time-five days a week, study’s materials ( 5000 notebooks, 220 student books, 220, school bags, 220 pair of shoes and hundred red and blur pens), and monthly breakfast to 220 children. The target area of this proposed project is located in Steong village, Bakong commune, Bakong District , Siem Reap province which is the 15 kilometers out of down-town areas of Siem Reap province.( most of the resident of the down-town area are poor). Association of Cambodia Child First (ACCF) has been observed about the lack of learning materials, uniforms, foods and education program for children in the communities. The team outreach will meet the young people at home and interview them to identify their need. Nowadays, the children experiencing a shortage of uniforms, learning materials, foods, and school bags for using because of all materials are so expensive that they can’t afford to buy them. Some children do not have to access to school because of their home is remote and difficult to travel. Lack of our projects the hundred children will lose their education and the thousand families will get hungry. Association of Cambodia Child First (ACCF) has been working with local authorities to researched the data and the exact number of vulnerable children, young people, and poor families are living in remote areas those have difficulty accessing to school and received our supported and with children disabilities. In order for the ACCF’s team to prepare the study materials, foods, school bags, uniforms that are lacking and help to solve the problem encountered and other challenges. All children are pillars and successors of our nation.

Specific objective
Supporting learning materials, uniforms, foods, school bags, shoe and encouraging children to study hard from secondary school, high school to university.
All children will receive uniforms, study materials, school bags, shoes, and monthly meal.
The children whom living in remote areas away from school will received bicycles to facilitate commuting to school. Encourage children to report learning challenges.
Motivate them when they received the good mark.
